Possible Fracture Of Runner Clamps

We have received a report indicating that, under extreme sledding conditions, the runner clamps on Captain Avalanche sleds may bend or even break.

Although no problems have occurred under normal use, and no accidents or injuries have resulted due to runner clamp failure, Captain Avalanche Industries believes in preventing any potential mishaps.

Therefore, in order to maintain our reputation for building the world's best and safest sled, we urge all customers who purchased either a 4/4 or 5/4 size Captain Avalanche sled this winter to contact us immediately so we can replace both the left and right runner clamps. We also urge our customer to refrain from riding their sleds until they have installed new runner clamps.

We regret this inconvenience and appreciate your help in ensuring the highest possible level of sledding safety.
